Cabin design and furnishings

The cabin of the Mustang includes four club seats, two rear-facing sets and two additional forward-facing seats. Left and right stow-able, mono-leaf executive tables are featured in the side ledges between the seats.

Six elliptical windows flood the cabin with natural light. Each window is tinted and includes a pleated, manual window shade. There are two window plies, one tinted frost pane per window. The bagged insulation of the walls contributes to a quiet, comfortable cabin environment, even at high speeds.

Across from the main cabin door is a side-facing toilet with a removable curtain included for privacy.

Cabin environment

When it comes to cabin size, The Mustang is at the top of its class. At 9’ 9” in length and a cabin height of 54”, the Mustang offers four-passenger club seating allowing passengers room to stretch out and enjoy the ride.

Adjustable air vents and fixed-position halogen reading lights are conveniently installed above each seat. Stow-able tables are also suitably positioned at each seat. The multi-zone climate control allows the pilot to adjust cockpit and cabin settings separately for optimal crew and passenger comfort.

In-cabin storage and power

Storage cabinets are located on both sides of the forward cabin, directly behind the cockpit. In-flight refreshments can be stored along with ice and cups in the right side cabinet. The left side cabinet is a generous storage cabinet for carry-ons and miscellaneous items.

A single 12-volt DC outlet is mounted in the lower section of the right side cabinet for cockpit or cabin use. An additional 12-volt DC outlet is provided on the face of the club seat console.

Uplifting technology for advanced awareness

Citation Mustang avionics

An Avionics Suite that goes above and beyond

The three-screen Garmin® G1000™ avionics suite in front office of the Mustang significantly decreases single pilot workload and stress while consolidating all primary flight, navigation, engine and sensor data onto large, easy-to-scan, flat-panel displays.

A pilot’s best friend

The Garmin Flight Management System (FMS) is a navigation solution for en-route, terminal and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) precision approach. The FMS will organize flight plans to be readily accessible and displayed via the moving map. Pilots have the option of overlaying present position references with geopolitical and airspace boundaries on any map format.

Two dual-channel, FADEC-controlled, Pratt & Whitney Canada™ PW615F-A turbofan engines are installed on the Mustang. The engine is a 2.8:1 bypass ratio, counter-rotating, twin-spool design with three compression stages and two turbine stages. It produces 1,460 pounds (6.49 kN) of thrust at sea level, static conditions, flat-rated up to 77°F (25°C). The FADEC system also provides time-limited dispatch, diagnostics and engine synchronization according to switch position.
