Cessna’s manufacturing facility in Independence, Kansas, produces the majority of Cessna single-engine aircraft including the 172 Skyhawk, the 182 Skylane, the 206 Stationair and the all-composite TTx. In addition, the Independence facility produces the Citation Mustang and Citation M2 business jets. The campus is made up of five buildings: the main assembly plant, the sand and fill building, the paint facility, the Flight building, and the new Customer Center.
